The Not For Profit Goldfields Masonic Homes wants to add 49 units to its 60-unit village in Kalgoorlie-Boulder at a cost of $13M. It has over 100 people on their waiting list, proving that villages are in high demand across Australia. They are still looking to secure funding for future stages of the $13M village despite a $7.2M tender for the first stage being awarded to two local builders. Goldfields have also committed to expanding the Montana Retirement village in Coolgardie, 558km east of Perth.
