2018-19 ACAR now open for applications: 14,200+ aged care places

As we covered here, this Aged Care Approval Round (ACAR) will offer 13,500 residential aged care places, 775 short-term restorative care places and another $60 million in capital grants – 35% more than the previous round in 2016-17. As you can see from the graph above, WA is the focus of this year’s ACAR with 3,370 places – just short of NSW’s 3,584 and third behind QLD’s 4,454. Application close 10 August HERE.
