30 seniors’ townhouses proposed for Calwell, ACT
Plans are now open for public notification

A new seniors’ living precinct has been proposed for the suburb of Calwell in Tuggeranong, ACT, 20km south of the Canberra CBD. Designed by Oztal Architects for KBDC, owned by developer Kieran Perlot, the 11,606-square-metre site will consist of 30 single-storey townhouses in two rows, and will be situated right next to the Calwell shopping district. Houses will have attached garages and car parking. The development will sit on once-public land that was put up for sale by the ACT’s Suburban Land Agency in late 2020 and bought by KBDC for $1.65 million in March 2021. Plans are now open for public notification.
