Opal has commenced construction of a 133 bed aged care facility within Stocklands redeveloped $160M Cardinal Freeman village at Ashfield in Sydneys Inner West. The 40 ha site will feature 240 apartments across seven batik buildings.
Sen. Mitch Fifield attended the launch, along with Mark Steinert (MD & CEO of Stockland, Gary Barnier (MD of Opal) and Stephen Bull (Group Executive & CEO Retirement).
Stockland says the first release 28 new two-bedroom and two bedroom plus study apartments sold out in a matter of weeks with stage II of 29 apartments fast tracked.
