The 402 land lease homes with clubhouse in the rural town of Mount Gordon, 38km south of Rockhampton, in QLD’s tropical Whitsundays, is set for decision tomorrow (Wednesday). The DA has been recommended for approval, subject to conditions. The development application by Grumpy Capital, trading as Tactica Planning and Development. The homes will be a mix of two- and three-bedroom dwellings, some with garages large enough for boats, caravans, RVs and other vehicles. Amenities include a sales office, residents’ workshop, RV washdown facility, community gardens including a mango orchard, a dog park and 2.3km of walking trails. The land lease community will be built over seven stages.
