$40M aged care facility for RFBI retirement village in Hunter Valley​

The Not for Profit Royal Freemasons' Benevolent Institution is building the three-storey, 150-bed facility at its Hawkins Masonic Village in Edgeworth, 18km west of the Newcastle CBD.

The development, proposed by Planix Projects, will see an existing village hall, four independent-living dwellings, a shed and car park will be demolished to make way for the development which also includes a community hub.
