“Age in place” homes to be built in Whitlam in the ACT

Housing ACT Growing and Renewing Public Housing Program has announced 25 two-, three- and four-bedroom homes will be built in Whitlam, a suburb in the Molonglo Valley. 

The townhouses will all be Class C adaptable, which means they are suitable for people with a disability and will allow people to age in place. They will be built by Projex Group. 

A further 482 homes are currently under construction, being designed, awaiting development application approvals or in a procurement process to secure builders.
