The Complaints Commissioner Rae Lamb and OPAN CEO Lewis Kaplan met recently to sign the Memorandum which will see the two organisations work together through increased engagements and “information sharing arrangements” to support aged care residents and their families. As we covered here, the Federal Government is supplying $25.7 million in funding to OPAN’s nine network organisations over the next three years including $1 million on elder abuse prevention and support.
