Aged Care Guild announces Matthew Richter as new CEO
Aged Care Guild CEO Matthew Richter

Mr Richter will take over from interim CEO Lee Hill on 1 June, joining the Guild after eight years with the ACT Health Directorate.

During this time, he was responsible for securing over $100 million in extra funding for health programs as well as a range of hospital and health industry initiatives and the negotiation of national health reform agreements and acts.

Mr Richter has also held a number of other policy roles in the ACT Government and the financial services sector including Allianz Group and Macquarie – experience that will surely be vital as the Guild works with the other aged care peaks towards a funding solution for the sector.
