The peak bodies including Aged and Community Services Australia, the Aged Care Guild, Leading Aged Services Australia, Catholic Health and UnitingCare have again met with politicians and their advisors to talk aged care following a previous Q&A session held in March. ACSA CEO Pat Sparrow said “the strength of the feedback since suggests this kind of event should form part of our ongoing government relations plan.” ACSA also used the opportunity to arrange a meeting with Senator Derryn Hinch’s adviser ahead of his private member’s bill regarding aged care staffing ratios.
