With AN-ACC commencing on 1 October 2022, the Department of Health is hosting a webinar to help aged care providers prepare and transition to the new system and to ensure they have the most up-to-date information. The webinar will be held on Tuesday 30 August 2022. You can register for the webinar through this link. Presenters will be:
- Mark Richardson – Assistant Secretary, Residential Care Funding Reform Branch, Department of Health and Aged Care,
- Representatives from the Residential Care Funding Reform Branch, Department of Health and Aged Care, and
- Representatives from Services Australia.
The webinar will focus on key AN-ACC changes, including:
- default classifications
- reclassification changes
- Base Care Tariff verification process
- Transition Fund eligibility
- care minutes definitions
- what is available on the health portal
- Services Australia system update
- provider readiness for go-live on 1 October 2022.
Attendees can submit questions through the registration page and there will be an opportunity to ask questions during the webinar. The Department recommends that attendees read the questions and answers from the June 2022 webinar before this webinar.
