Mary Whitehurst, a resident at Riddell Gardens Aged Care in Sunbury VIC, reached the milestone last Thursday and told the Herald Sun the secret to her long life was having a positive view on life.
Mrs Whitehurst, who still enjoys playing the piano and a game of bingo, celebrated the day with cake, other residents and her young son Eric.
Raising my son was the best thing I did, she said. But Im looking forward to some cake ... I love any nice cake and I really love chocolate.
