BaptistCare NSW & ACT grows its continuum of care model
Each location has a retirement village and aged care home and will complement BaptistCare's presence in these regions, said BaptistCare in a statement

The continuum of care model is growing at pace with Not for Profit BaptistCare NSW & ACT buying the Tulich Family Communities’ Kintyre Living Retirement Village and Lodge in Dubbo, in NSW’s Central West; Blue Hills Retirement Village and Manor in Prestons and Durham Green Retirement Village, Manor and Lodge in Menangle, both in Sydney’s south west. Each location has a retirement village and aged care home and will complement BaptistCare's presence in these regions, said BaptistCare in a statement. The three sites comprise 251 residential aged care beds and 410 independent living units, with just over 240 staff providing care and services to 650 residents. BaptistCare, which announced a $1.978 billion “vertical village” at Macquarie Park in Sydney’s North West, in December last year, is offering employment to all existing staff and will take over the operation of the three sites in late March.
“As a result of the increasing regulatory pressure, funding challenges, staffing crisis, and changing customer demands we are now seeing increased consolidation in the sector. At BaptistCare our focus is on expanding our services within geographical clusters where we have a footprint, with likeminded organisations that will enhance the continuum of care we can offer our residents and clients across NSW and the ACT,” BaptistCare NSW & ACT CEO Charles Moore said.
