As Bolton Clarke bought Acacia Living, Allity and last week McKenzie Aged Care to become the nation’s largest Not for Profit aged care provider, it has quietly gone about providing a continuum of care service with co-located retirement villages or independent living units. The two retirement villages Bolton Clarke bought from McKenzie Aged Care are co-located with residential aged care homes. As the graph above shows, Bolton Clarke has 17 co-located sites in four States. Add McKenzie’s two co-located home in Bongaree and Beerwah, QLD, and four more that the Not for Profit is developing.
