The NSW Department of Planning and Environment has approved the rezoning of Doyalson Wyee RSL’s 45ha site on the state’s Central Coast to allow for its redevelopment to include 220 senior housing homes. However, the $40 million senior housing development is part of Stage 4 of the redevelopment and is expected in nine to 12 years’ time. In addition, there will be approximately 140 low density residential dwellings. The total cost of the redevelopment of the RSL Club, owned by Doylo Lifestyle Group, is estimated at $185 million.
