It is Australia's largest retirement village created 46 years ago at Capel Sound on VIC’s Mornington Peninsula and it remains a shining example of the sector at its best.
Chief Operating Officer Peter Nilsson, who also was inducted into the Retirement Living Council's Hall of Fame, led a contingent from the village as it was awarded the People's Choice Award for Best Retirement Community and the Best Refurbishment below $1 million at the National Retirement Living Awards on the Gold Coast last Thursday.
