Construction expected to kick off at delayed GemLife Tweed Waters LLC

GemLife is preparing to start construction this month on its Tweed Waters land lease community in northern NSW, having endured numerous delays. GemLife Tweed Waters, the company’s first community in the NSW Northern Rivers region, is expected to comprise 100 homes alongside a waterfront country club; however, its development has been subject to snags including a decree by Tweed Shire Council last May that a number of homes would need to be manufactured off-site. With civil works now finished, a construction compound is being set up on site this month in anticipation of Council granting an Approval to Operate.
“With the residential construction team gearing up on site, we’ll be ready to hit the ground running as soon as Council gives us the green-light,” said GemLife Director and CEO Adrian Puljich (pictured). “After many frustrating delays, we’re looking forward to delivering our future residents the top-notch, quality homes we are known for as soon as possible.”
