Community-owned Not For Profit Cowra Retirement Village – known locally as Bilyara – has renamed the former Holy Trinity Retirement Village in Grenfell, NSW, and is offering units for rent. Dubbed Jessie Livingstone Court, the village comprises six one-bedroom independent living units for over-55s, which have all been refurbished with new carpets and new paint. Each unit has built-in wardrobe, reverse cycle split-system air conditioning, laundry, and medi-alarm system.
“These spacious units are the perfect opportunity to down-size and reduce your workload around the house. “The village is surrounded by landscaped gardens which are regularly maintained,” the provider says.
The units are available on a rental basis for $640 per month, increasing every July in line with CPI; a similar price structure is in use at the provider’s Bellevue Court in Cowra, while Kalyan Court and Kiah Place both use a traditional DMF system. Cowra Retirement Village earlier this year announced its hopes to recommission a shuttered Southern Cross Care aged care facility in Harden, NSW.
