Victorian Croatian Aged Care Services wants to build the 100-bed facility in Bell Park on the site of a former high school, citing the lack of culturally appropriate aged care services in the area.
Over $50,000 for the facility was raised last year at a dinner dance last year organised by the Australian Croatian Community Services.
We think they will need more funding to get the project off the ground however.
