David Blight to replace Philippa Kelly as Chair of Lifestyle Communities

David Blight (pictured left), who has been on the board of the over-50s land lease owner/operator since 2018, will replace Philippa (pictured right) as Chair when she retires on 31 August. 

David is also Chief Executive of investor and boutique fund manager IP Generation; Senior Advisor to ESR Group, an Asia focused Real Estate services and investment company; Director of Woodcliff Capital Group; and Director of JODA Holdings. 

Lifestyle Communities also announced JoAnne Stephenson as a Non-Executive Director of the Company, effective 1 July 2024. JoAnne spent more than 25 years with KMPG, 15 years as a Partner, with experience across the audit, insolvency, and advisory divisions. She is currently a Non-Executive Director of Challenger Limited and Qualitas Limited (ASX: QAL). JoAnne is also a member of the Approved Provider Board for Estia Investments Pty Ltd and chairs the Audit & Risk Committee for the Investor Board for Bain Capital. During 2023, JoAnne retired from her roles as Chair and Non-Executive Director of Myer Holdings Ltd and Chair of the Victorian Major Transport Infrastructure Advisory Board.

In April, Lifestyle Communities Co-Founder and Managing Director James Kelly said the business had bought three pieces of land named in the $275 million capital raising presentation in February 2024 (full story click here).
