The DCM Institute is in Perth today and Adelaide on Thursday for the latest Professional Development Days.
“After listening to the concerns of Village Managers, we are looking at dementia in retirement living, as well as doing a deep dive into mediation skills to help with dispute resolution,” James Wiltshire, Executive Director of the DCM Institute, said in Perth.
“This is how we can support your team. By listening to their pressure points and delivering content and skill development to help them improve resident outcomes in their communities.”
The professional development program was established for Village and Community Managers in 2018 and currently has more than 500 participants across the country, representing more than 125 operators.
“The complexity of a Village Manager’s role is widely discussed in the sector. Our program is designed to support and develop the skills of the people in these roles so that they can deliver improved resident and business outcomes,” James said.
