A sign that the Department does respond to criticism? Last week during the Department of Health’s webinar on outbreak management, a provider had questioned the translation resources on the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for staff. This week, a response. The Department has now provided translations of its PPE in aged care flowchart – which shows staff how to wear PPE properly – in Arabic, Chinese, Filipino, Greek, Italian, Korean, Persian, Spanish and Vietnamese.
