Doors swing open on Aveo’s billion-dollar Springfield development in QLD

Australia’s second largest village operator has officially opened its 66 units at Springfield retirement village, marking the first stage of a 20-year construction at the site, 21km from Ipswich and 33km from Brisbane’s CBD.

Located next to the Mater Private Hospital Springfield, over 2,500 units are planned for what will become Australia’s largest retirement village.

By 2036, it’s predicted over 100,000 people will call the City of Springfield home, with 20% over the age of 65.
