Estia Health has purchased from Hutchinson family on the New South Wales north coast 349 beds across the three facilities in Taree, Tuncurry and Forster, a deal put together by Phil Smith at Colliers. Also purchased a 120 bed facility at Mount Coolum on the Sunshine Coast.

Having listed last December for $1.1 billion with approximately 3,500 beds, they now have 4127 beds and ambitions to reach 10,000 within five years.

Since December their share price has risen from $4.70 to $6.29, a jump of 33% in five months.
