Fully occupied Tamar Riverside Retirement Village in Riverside, Tasmania, up for sale

A 1.34ha retirement village overlooking the Tamar River in Tasmania’s Launceston region has been listed for sale.

Humpheys Real Estate in Launceston is marketing Tamar Riverside Retirement Village, which has 30 one- and two-bedroom units, most with dedicated undercover parking. The site sits between the Rob and Leeanne Reeves' Cadorna House and Calvary Riverside Views residential aged care homes.

"The extensive grounds are well maintained and there is surplus land area available for further development (subject to council approval). In addition to the 30 units is a separate meeting room," states the real estate agency.

Most of the homes were built in 1992, while others are understood to date as far back as the 1970s.

Tamar, a registered charity, reported a profit of $48,614 and total assets of $1.3 million for the financial year ending 30 June 2024.
