The Elliott family-owned over-50s lifestyle resorts owner and operator has stuck a deal with Gold Coast company Golf Cars Australia for residents at its latest $70 million land lease community under construction. Everyone who purchases a home in Palm Lakes Resort Pelican Waters, which will boast 332 houses upon completion, will be given a Palm Lake Resort Pelican Waters branded Club Car golf car when they move in. Palm Lakes Resort says the aim of the unique partnership is to enhance the overall lifestyle experience for residents by providing them with a convenient and enjoyable mode of transportation within the resort grounds. The Villages, the world’s biggest retirement village, which is in Florida, sees its residents getting around in two, four, and six passenger golf cars, but they have to pay or rent them. Colin Sergis, CEO of Golf Cars Australia, said it will provide service and support to the residents with its cars.

Originally designed by Greg Norman, Pelican Waters Golf Course is being reconfigured to enable the resort to be built. The Golf Course has been ranked number 1 public access golf course on the Sunshine Coast and is also number 25 in the top 100 public access courses in Australia.
Stage 1 of Palm Lakes Resort Pelican Waters is now fully under contract and there is a full database anticipating the release of Stage 1B in the coming months.
