The Property Council reports that the RP Data Home Value Index shows that capital city dwelling values increased by 2.8% in the March quarter, the strongest result in three years. In March the increase was 1.32%, the best results since May 2010. Adelaide is the only city not to increase in March. New home sales dropped by 5.3% month on month in February according to the Housing Industry Association [HIA], making it easier for potential village residents to sell their family homes - meaning more demand for existing homes.
