Government webinar to assist aged care providers with skilled worker visas

The Federal Departments of Health and Home Affairs will hold a joint webinar on Monday 28 February about skilled visa options for aged care. Pre-registration is required for the hour-long webinar. According to the Government, the webinar will cover:

• visa options and practical hints for service providers interested in sponsoring workers to fill gaps where Australian workers are not available
• using labour agreements as a flexible alternative approach to accessing skilled overseas workers, where standard skilled visa programs are not accessible
• other aged care workforce initiatives providing assistance to service providers.
