The proposed senior housing complex in Merimbula would have 89 units over five storeys if approved by Bega Valley Shire Council.
Sydney-based Haskew de Chalain (HDC) Planning has lodged the development application for the site named Sea-Eagle Estate of Merimbula, a town on Merimbula Lake, 448km south of Sydney.
The building would have staff, social services and its own public transport.
HDC Planning senior associate Ivan Kokotovic, who lodged the plans with Council, told South Coast News the structure would be an “aesthetically pleasing and contemporary addition” to Merimbula.
The development application is open to community submissions until 29 May.
