On completion, the over 55s land lease community will have 133 new homes with first residents expected to arrive in late 2025.
It is Ingenia Lifestyle’s 16th resort in NSW with another 13 in Queensland and Victoria. It follows the launch of communities in Morisset, Port Stephens and Fullerton Cove last year.
Ingenia Communities Executive General Manager Acquisitions and Development Michael Rabey said Ingenia Lifestyle Kokomo will provide highly sought after resort-style living in the famous surfing beach.
"We have donated 60ha of conservation land that backs on to the north of our site to Mid-Coast Council and have retained a significant volume of local native Cabbage Palm Trees in an on-site nursery. These will be replanted as key landscape features that will characterise the Ingenia Lifestyle Kokomo community,” Michael said.
“We’re also targeting a 5-Star Green Star - Communities rating, reflecting our commitment to excellence in sustainable outcomes at Ingenia Lifestyle Kokomo.”
Homes in the first release will be available for sale in April this year.
