A new initiative encouraging retirees across Australia to remember and share personal stories of hope and happiness during times of upheaval has been launched by Lendlease.
The initiative proved popular with their 17,000 village residents and is now being extended to the broader community of Australian retirees with a story to share.
Titled Remember When, the initiative has been born out of the current COVID-19 environment.
The company has put significant promotional efforts behind it, including full-page ads in weekend newspapers plus video and web support. Check it out here.
Submissions close 3 July and will be compiled into an e-book titled Silver Linings – ‘capturing the spirit of memories made, stories told and things that bring comfort and joy’.
Stories are welcome from all Australian retirees. Submissions can be in the form of an inspiring one-page story, photo, poem or piece of art that reflects a time gone by.
