Living Choice Kawana Island resident Ian Jacobsen (photographed) has conceived a motor scooter marathon across the Nullarbor Plain to raise $300,000 for beyondblue. Designed for people aged 65 to 75, Ian “wants society to realise is old is still have something to give back”.
In September they will ride 50 mL scooters into alternating teams for half of each day, aiming to cover 240 km of desert train per day.
