Lucinda Smith supports the merger of Thomson Lawyers with Herbert Gear – building the retirement focus

The Thomsons Lawyers Health & Aged Care practice, led by Lucinda Smith, is strongly behind the merger of Thomsons Lawyers and Herbert Geer, which came into effect 31 March. Smith’s practice acts for numerous retirement village operators and aged care providers. She was named 'Lawyer of the Year' by Best Lawyers in Australia (2013) for Retirement Villages and Senior Living Law.
The new firm is in the top 10 independent Australian law firms. Herbert Geer acted for the Inge family and Macquarie Capital Alliance Group in the high profile 2007 sale of Zig Inge Holdings to Retirement Villages Group and last year’s listing of Metlifecare Limited on the Australian Securities Exchange.
