The past four or five months have seen a number of quiet but large transactions taking place after three years of little activity. Colliers Director, Transaction will Services, Shane Nicholson achieved healthy prices with the sale to the Seventh Day Adventists of Greenleaf villages at Belmont and Wyee (NSW) prior to Christmas plus the Serene Living/Tweed Heads development in the New Year. This all follows the $500M deals for Innovative Care and Lend Lease Aged Care. Russell Allison, Knight Frank Director, Health Aged Care and Retirement, (pictured) has four big villages/developments on his books at the moment. Over the past 12 months he has transacted nine aged care facilities and villages worth $140M.
