Medication management platform Medi-Map has been given the tick of approval to be used in e-prescriptions for Tasmanian aged care facilities. The software was granted Electronic National Residential Medication Chart (eNRMC) conformance by Tasmania Health for administration and prescription, meaning Tasmanian providers using Medi-Map can access eNRMC grants for hardware, software and training costs.

“The ability for Medi-Map to deliver eNRMC to our clients will further strengthen our offering in streamlining the doctor’s workflow, whilst ensuring there is a valid script for a pharmacy to supply and dispense,” said Medi-Map CEO Greg Garratt (pictured). “Medi-Map helps improve the supply chain process and ensures timely access to medications for residents living in aged care facilities.”

The Medi-Map platform is already in use by providers around the country, including BaptistCare NSW & ACT, Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT, Uniting AgeWell, and Australian Unity.
