The Moran family bought the historic 5.5ha property – 68km south west of Sydney CBD – for $1.6 million in 2008 and have recently secured an aged care licence for the site.
Moran Group managing director, Peter Moran, says that adjoining land – currently home to St John’s Camden Anglican Church and Camden Golf Club – will also need to be developed to assist in restoring the property to meet the construction needs of an aged care facility.
The Victorian-style Studley House was built in 1902.
