Mildura's largest aged care provider, Not For Profit Princes Court, has appointed experienced business executive Anthony Couroupis Interim CEO for a six-month tenure. Anthony will step down from his role on the board of Princes Court while he takes on the job. “The board is confident that under Anthony’s guidance, Princes Court will continue to thrive, upholding the commitment to excellence in care and lifestyle that Princes Court is renowned for,” said Princes Court Chair, Lyn Heaysman. She said he will bring his corporate leadership and strategic vision to the role during the "transitional phase" of CEO recruitment.

"The Board remains committed to keeping all stakeholders informed throughout this process of CEO renewal and is confident this leadership change heralds the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Princes Court," she said.

Anthony said in a statement he will work with the board to complete strategic planning for Princes Court's new $23.5 million 50-bed residential aged care facility, due to open mid-2026. The two-storey project will be built with the assistance of an $11 million Commonwealth Government grant and will feature four small care households, common areas, and landscaped gardens. Former CEO Carrie Chappell, who had been in the Acting CEO role for only 14 months, left in December, and was recently appointed CEO of Qld independent living and residential aged care provider Torbay Lifestyles & Care. Princes Court is Mildura's oldest aged care provider, and offers home care, retirement living and residential aged care services.
