New Zealand’s largest village and care operator, Ryman, has declared its Half Year results – NZ$66.3M, up 13% on the same period last year. Adding valuation gains takes the after tax profit to NZ$108M.
They have 30 villages, including their first in Australia – in Melbourne - which opened its first stage in May. (They are now building Stage 3, having sold XX units). All up they have five villages in actual construction plus 8 new village developments in planning stage, including their second Australian village.
Their total is 4,000 village units and 4,000 care beds across their portfolio.
