New Zealand operator Metlifecare will return to the South Island with a new premium village on a 5.42-hectare site in central Wānaka.
The NZ$200 million project will comprise around 120 independent villas and 17 apartments plus a premium care centre, said Metlifecare CEO Earl Gasparich (pictured), who

“We are on an exciting journey of growth and transformation, and this move back into the South Island is a significant step forward to increasing our geographical footprint,” he said.
Construction is set to begin in late 2023, with the first stage open to residents in 2025.
