The boutique village operator, founded in 2004 by Mark Bindon, Franco De Pasquale and Marco De Pasquale, has started construction on its second Newcastle village at Boolaroo, 19km west of the CBD at Lake Macquarie. The 61 units are located in the Bundeera Estate and are being built by local builder Mavid Constructions. Oak Tree now has villages in QLD, NSW, VIC and TAS with NSW super fund First State Super coming on board last year to fund future expansion taking 70% equity.
