Palm Lake Group splashes $10M on luxury Country Club at Toowoomba community

An extension of the existing Toowoomba Pinnacle resort, the Club’s facilities include a 60-seat private cinema, ten pin bowling alley, Milon gymnasium, observation deck, heated indoor pool and an outdoor infinity pool which sits alongside a recently completed eight rink undercover championship lawn bowls green.

It’s a considerable investment for Palm Lake, with the average spend on a retirement village clubhouse usually around the $2 to $3M mark.

However CEO Manuel Lang tells us that the Club is really an extension of their residents’ homes – and is already proving attractive to prospective buyers.

“The two things that are really blowing everyone away are the infinity pool and the state-of-the-art gym,” he says. “We have already sold out the first three stages of Toowoomba and we fully expect the next stage to sell out just as quickly.”
