Within the Private operators, Corporates (listed on the NZSX) account for 64% of retirement village units, private companies 19% and Not For Profits 17%.
By comparison in Australia the Top 4 major private operators (Lend Lease, Aveo, Stockland, RetireAustralia) account for 26%. The Not For Profits also account for 40% of the total market in ILU numbers.
