Grant Simpson, CEO, NoosaCare

Grant Simpson has been appointed CEO of Not For Profit community aged care provider NoosaCare.

NoosaCare operates two aged care homes: Carramar in Tewantin and Kabara in Cooroy. Both are located in the Noosa hinterland.

Grant has a wealth of experience, having previously been Director of Marketing and Partnerships at Anglicare Sydney, Foundation Director of Neuroscience Research Australia, CEO of MWP Care, and CEO of Lifeline South West Qld.

Grant told NoosaToday: “A key area of focus for NoosaCare will be the development of a new strategic plan, which enables NoosaCare to be well positioned to meet the future needs of older people. We are reviewing which areas of support will be most in demand in the future and which NoosaCare is best equipped to deliver against.

“Building a skilled and capable workforce is a critically important area for NoosaCare. Our goal is to be an employer of choice in the Noosa Region, attracting staff who are dedicated to the care of others and who are looking for career development pathways.”

NoosaCare’s president Ann Harrap said: “The Board welcomes Grant’s experience in driving strategic change but also his new ideas to help shape NoosaCare’s future in the best interests of our residents.”
