Queensland Govt’s Seniors Strategy to drive $10B in investment

The Strategy will be driven by actions across government to build infrastructure, services and supports for seniors, announced Minister for Seniors and Disability Services, Charis Mullen (pictured), last Thursday.

It is meant to reflect the views of more than 16,000 older Queenslanders, with three consistent themes emerging. Older Queenslanders want:

  • to be connected to their communities and the people and services that matter to them,
  • to be cared for and supported by world class frontline services when needed, and
  • recognised and celebrated for the significant contribution they make to economy and society.
