The vacant Castle Fun Park site in Mandurah, 70km south of Perth, has gone on the market with a multi-storey retirement village one of the proposals for development.

Built in 1979, the 1.05ha fun park had been home to a replica of a Bavarian castle, an Australia-shaped swimming pool, mini-golf course and go-kart track, but was closed in the early 2000s and has since become a derelict, graffitied eyesore.
