SATURDAY: Ingenia advice: don’t take residents’ experiences and feedback for granted

The current SATURDAY digital magazine is all about the future – and there is something in the 42 pages for retirement living providers, as well as home care and aged care operators. Justin Blumfield, Ingenia Communities’ General Manager – Residential Communities, said if he could offer advice to other operators, it would be “never take your customers’ experience and feedback for granted”. Ingenia has made a number of changes to its approach after an extensive survey of residents, including:

  • Implementing more flexibility into the use of community spaces;
  • Improving the quality of its bowling greens;
  • Better digital communications in clubhouses; and
  • Improving designs to better support ageing in place.
