A sign of demand: 15 units already allocated at regional NSW retirement village – before Council approval

The Junee Lifestyle Village development will feature 52 units with seven designs ranging from $345,900 for a two-bedroom, single-garage unit to $385,800 for a three-bedroom, double garage unit. The project is the work of a group of locals in the town, 434km from Sydney, who purchased the land in 2016 and hired Ladex Construction Group as the developer. Chairman Michael Commins said their aim was to allow the town’s elderly residents to live independently without leaving town. “There have been a lot of people who have had to leave Junee to move into retirement villages – now, our residents won’t have to move 30 or 40 minutes away anymore,” he said.
