Signature Care’s $35 million aged care facility under construction in Wagga Wagga, NSW, has been given permission for its additional $4.6 million wing. The wing on the south side – which has received the thumbs up from Wagga City Council – will add 36 beds, bringing the total at the Turvey Park development to 180, as well as amenities such as offices, meeting rooms, staff accommodation, and a formal dining room. Scheduled to open in January 2023, the home has been under construction since last October on a former Air Force base that once housed dormitories for Charles Sturt University.
