At our LEADRS SUMMIT in March Minter Ellison partner Robin Lyons clearly outlined the accelerating risk village operators face as home care is increasingly being marketed with villages. He explained village operators are moving into the duty of care arena.
Now the leading consultancy and marketing agency One Fell Swoop is offering dementia audits for villages, with the support of Alzheimers Australia NSW.
OFS Director, Ageing & Living, Dr Andrew Fleming, conducts a site visit and reviews the physical environment plus reviews policies and procedures. He also conducts focus groups with staff, residents and families.
He was previously Care Governance, Research and Planning Manager at Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT).
