Four buildings sized between seven and eleven storeys will contain 259 apartments at Kangaroo Point, directly opposite Brisbane’s CBD. Ozcare has been gradually buying up six adjacent properties since 2007 for a total of $24.8 million. The Kangaroo Point South neighbourhood plan specifies a maximum building height of eight storeys. Ozcare CEO Anthony Godfrey is quoted in the Brisbane Times, saying: “Ozcare has considered multiple uses for the Kangaroo Point site and believes the current DA provides the best outcome”.
